Lynn McGregor RSW

Lynn was born in Pittenweem, Fife and studied at Edinburgh College of Art from 1984-88, graduating with BA (Hons) in Drawing and Painting. This was followed by a Postgraduate course at the same college.

From 1990-97, Lynn was a part-time Lecturer at Telford College, Edinburgh while continuing her career as a painter. In 1991 she received the Scottish Society of Women Artists Special Award and in 1996 she was awarded the Eli Lilly Purchase Prize. In 2000 Lynn was elected a Professional Member, Scottish Society of Artists and Artist Craftsmen and elected RSW in 2001.

Lynn has shown her work in many solo and group exhibitions in Scotland and London. Her work is held in several Public Collections including, Robert Fleming Holdings Ltd, London; Edinburgh College of Art; National Trust for Scotland; Bank of Scotland and the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh. She also has work in various private collections in the UK and abroad.
