John Lowrie Morrison (jolomo)
John was born in Glasgow and trained at the Glasgow School of Art. He taught in Secondary Schools for 25 years, resigning in 1997 to paint full-time. In the last decade he has become one of Scotland's most successful artists. He lives and works in the beautiful sealoch setting of Tayvallich, Argyll.

I'm preoccupied with the rugged landscape, people and history, each tied to and inseparable from the other, of the place I call home.
