Winter Show 2010 at Annan Gallery

Winter Exhibition

An antidote to the cold dark days of Winter, this mixed exhibition rounds off a busy year with artwork selected for an emphasis on colour. Imagined townscapes from George Birrell and Elena Kourenkova, hang out with burlesque beauties from Laetitia Guilbaud, high-colour florals from Carolyn Rockwood sit alongside Scottish landscapes from Kate Philp, Davy Brown, Erni Upton, James Orr, Pam Carter and John Lowrie Morrison where colour ranges from Realist to Expressionist. The Exhibition also features new work by Marion Drummond, Peter Foyle, Frank McNab, Scott Naismith and Peter Nardini, wood /glass sculpture from Scott Irvine and a dose of daft humour in the ceramics of Alex Johannsen. So, colour and fun to banish Winter Blues.
