Phil Atrill

Phil studied at Edinburgh College of Art and obtained a BA Honours Degree in Glass in 1995. In 1996 he commenced work with 'First Glass' in London as a Hot-Glass Assistant but also had the opportunity to produce his own work.

In 2001 he received an MA Glass from the Royal College of Art and he was the recipient of several scholarships, enabling him to attend courses by leading glassmakers. Phil has also won many competitions, been the recipient of awards and featured in numerous publications.

He is at present a self-employed glass artist and hot glass assistant working for a number of designers in and around London and continuing to make his own work.
